Introduction follow up

Attempts to transfer the Yahoo! blog have been unsuccessful as were the previous attempts to transfer to it. I am now
going to try and do what I did not last time - transfer each entry by re-typing it as I have done with the immediately
previous entry to this. That was written on 13 July 2007 in the middle of the Tour de France after which I must have
had other pre-occupations. At present, the obstacles are firstly Frightfest running from tomorrow, 27 August, to Monday
next, 31 August, and the Vuelta a Espana which starts on Saturday 29 August.

History (ex Yahoo)

Possibly this should have been the first entry of all. I have had a blog elsewhere which has suddenly stopped accepting
new entries - I can edit the entries that are there, I and others can post comments but a number of attempys to add the
first two entries to this blog have been unsuccessful. The online help offered does not cover this failure so the only
answer to overcome my frustration was to start again. However, I shall add the entries from the previous blog over the
next few weeks as and when the spirit moves me.

AOL are bloody useless much of the time so good luck with this new site. I shall add the new link to my blog.xxx

Introduction

This is the first entry on this site. My first blog on AOL was lost when the site closed down before I got round to trying to move the entries and the second blog on Yahoo! Geocities is closing shortly. There seems to be no way of moving that to
here in one go so I am trying to do so by taking each entry and converting this to a pdf file which I hope will then transfer.
The first one was actually the third entry of the Yahoo! blog so let's see what happens.
